I'll talk a bout that topic cause as important to have a good technical knowledge , you must have a good skills in
interviewing and in
communications.You must have both the content and style.
It's not enough to have only one of them.So I'm going to discuss this point ,
I would like to refer to interview skills as most of the questions may seem to be simple in the surface , but actually it reflects a deep idea a bout yourself to the interviewer.
For me , I Consider it "El Sahl El Momtna3"
as if you don't answer it well , it doesn't imply that you haven't the technical knowledge that qualifying you .I consider it the cream that decorates a beautiful cake , In other words :
you won't be able to answer these questions without having a good content and some experience.
Let's start by most tough questions and try to do our best in answering them :
1- Tell me a little about yourself ?
- It's an open question and it seems to be easy .
- Be careful not to give the interviewer your life story , especially this question reflects your skills and qualifications .
To introduce yourself :
- mention your status if you are a student or not .
- describe what do you work (at your college if you are studying).
- mention why you decided to apply for this position and your qualifications .
My name is ..................., I'm student at .............................
I'm good at ....................(your own abilities).
I'm known for ...............(your reputation).
I enjoy.............................(your interests and basic nature of your character).
I would like to be...........So I'm applying for this position .
2-What's your biggest weakness ?
- This question gives the interviewer an idea why we shouldn't hire you .
- The most important thing to name your weakness and tell what you are doing to overcome it .
- The intelligence is to answer the question without casting yourself in a negative light , you have to show that you are aware of the problem and actively working to solve it and you have to mention the steps you had taken .
- Remember that negative things you can turn it into positive things depending on how you present it , for example :
-sometimes take along time to complete a task , but this is because i like so much to know all details a bout the whole project and design .
-I'm not organized ........., I'm using now a program to help in time management and a To-Do List so as not to forget my appointments .
-Lack of experience .......,mention what you had done to overcome this problem.
3-What's your greatest strength ?
- It's your chance to shine , you are going to explain why you are a good employee or why they should hire you .
- It has to be a work related strength Like :
-I'm a good problem solver .....Say with examples .
-I'm a good leader......................Mention a project and say how you had organized ?
4-How are you when working under pressure ?
- A tricky question but you have to make your answer believable .
- Best answer :Absolutely ...... you have to mention a project you worked under pressure ,how you made time management to face multi-tasking and deadlines and show how you set your priorities .
5-Where do you see yourself five years from now ?
- I think this question gives an idea of how you are planning for yourself, if you have a goal in your life working on it and what steps taken to reach to it .
- Feel free to answer what you are seeking for after five years from now , but try to mention what you are doing to reach your goal .
-My Dream is to be .................................., I had a
certification in .............. and i got training in .......
6-Do you have a question for me or about the company ?
This question shows how much you are interested in the company , you may ask questions like that :
- why this position is opened ?
- what are the most difficulties the one may face in this position ?
- how is one evaluated in this position ?
For Sure these questions not all the interview questions , there are a bout fifty interview questions all their goal to test your skills , abilities and qualifications
Here are some tips help in exceeding that test :
- Research the company and the position you are applying for and the people that you will meet and review your work experience .
- Try to write down answer for most tough questions that may face you in interview and try to be honest in your answers and confident.
- Try to be well dressed , smiley and don't be late for interview time as first impressions are everything.
- Body language is an important too in interview process , your movement , your expressions , eye contact and try to be a good listener .
